Weenie & Gunner relaxing on the bed (brats) |
“Weenie” is our all American mix. My husband, Joe, rescued Weenie from some rotten kids in Paterson, NJ. They had a WIRE wrapped around his throat and were DRAGGING him along while doing so – they were kicking and punching him. |
Weenie’s age upon arrival here was estimated 7 months old – he was just a baby and had been treated so
cruelly. |

Today Weenie thrives and his experience with teenage children has not scared him with other kids. He does have a fear of Gunshots – he shakes and throws up when he hears any sound resembling a gunshot. We noticed this when watching a program where there were shots in a scene! |
Otherwise he is one exceptional boy! Loving, loyal, outgoing, and just as sweet as can be. He’s also quite the “guard” dog. He gets along beautifully with our Pyrs and cat – Puss Puss the Killer! |

"Puss Puss the Killer Cat"

Puss came with the house! The previous owner didn’t want to take him to their new home and asked if we would keep him. She was going to be staying next door until her home was ready and when I asked her to help me catch him so I could get him NEUTERED she said – she would just PUT HIM DOWN – because he was a crazy cat! |
Puss is one of the sweetest cats we have come to know and he was neutered immediately and vet cared. He’s a happy go lucky cat – that keeps the population of unwanted rodents and such away from our home. He likes to bring me “gifts” to show his appreciation of the love and believe me these “gifts” I could do without – hence the name “Killer Cat”. |

He enjoys the Pyrs and Weenie – always coming on our walks and sleeps in their kennel run and even joins them on the grooming table. He’s a wonderful addition to our family. |
