Our first and most intelligent, independent, and the one who changed our lives forever. This girl is as loyal and loving as can be – but she is in every sense a "true Great Pyrenees".
Murphy is the most confident pyr that I have ever met. She is a true guardian and is so quick to access any given situation. I have no doubt that this girl even at almost
11.5 years old could
be put on the farm and would do her job without a hitch. However, she does love her bed and couch (see thumbnails). |

Murphy has been and still is in the center of our hearts. She is why we have come to love this breed
and why we are doing what we do now. Because of her, we have went from a sports car to a
mini-van, moved to a home with more property (4 ˝ acres), traveled all over the place, and
have broken so many house rules. Through her we have met many great people and now have
long lasting friendships. Because of this girl, we became involved in Preventive Rescue,
Breeding (although she was never or will ever be bred), Dog Showing, Penn Dutch Great
Pyrenees Club and the Great Pyrenees Club of America, and the addition of two other pyrs in
our home. |

Murphy is by no means a "clingy give me all your attention dog" she loves when
she wants to
and is always alert and ready to go, while appearing totally relaxed. She is a true guardian and
can adapt to any situation thrown her way. It has been a privilege to have her in our lives and
we have the utmost respect for this fine gal. |
