1997 - A much younger Gunner with the late C. Seaver Smith at the GPCA National in Maryland. Gunner was awarded The "Edith Smith Memorial Trophy" for Best American Bred Dog. It was a great honor because of Seaver and their daughter presented the award to Joe and I. It was very emotional for both of us and we treasure that win.

Gunner at age 3 ½ years old attaining his Championship under well respected Judge, Mr. Hastings at the Harrisburg Kennel Club Show.

Gunner pictured here at age 7 with well respected French Judge, Mr. Alain Pecoult.  Gunner was pulled for Best of Breed and Mr. Pecoult requested photos of him to take back to France to feature in their National Magazine – RACP. This was a great honor.  Note; Gunner is totally out of coat.
