  Rescue

Giving a special dog a second chance in having a wonderful life.

As long as there are puppy mills and back yard breeders who take no responsibility for the lives of the puppies they sell, there will always be a tremendous requirement for Rescue. Many animals are turned in due to change of living situations, the death of owner, abandoned, abused and just plain not a convenience anymore. Reputable Rescue Organizations (as those in the links above) work night and day to save these beautiful souls and give them a second chance on life by placing them with special families. They bring just as much joy and love as a puppy and will love you unconditionally.

Wonderful Sites From The USA

Established in 1972, Maranatha Great Pyrenees is owned by Whitney and Nancy Coombs of Gettysburg, PA.   This site takes you back in time with the dogs from "way back when" and brings you up to present date.   One of the nicest attributes of this page and a statement to their breeding program, is that you can see "generations"  of their dogs!   Do Enjoy!
